The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok one of Matts great 870 kits arrived at my door today so I set about getting it installed. Here's how it went...

Dry fitting the parts and working out how they assemble...

Glued together...

And inside it's new home...
Image

I had to dremel a trench along the top for as the bolts from Tom's adapter dont allow the 870 to sit flush with the "roof" of the cage which it needs to do.

Due to my gripfame not being removeable I had to change the way the adapter screws into the thompson . Instead of screwing from underneath it now attaches from above (the holes are hidden by the shrouds).

Heres a few shots to show the racking movement...

More soon :)

Ok almost there guys. Got the metal GL block added today (the correct style this time :) ). Just the ammo counter to add now and sort out the connection of the pump handle to the remington.

I vote that a version of this post be streamlined and copied to the archives in "read only" form... Next time someone asks "How do you build a pulse rifle" I'll send them there.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Once the ammo counter arrives and ive got it installed (shouldnt take long) then its just a case of adding the last few bolts and then im having some top quality photos taken by a friend of mine (and some of my armour too).
