Got my slings today Matt they look and feel awesome, cant wait to start adjusting them so I can get them to fit right while carrying my PR and MT!

Yep pretty easy, over and under strap with a buckle and then the actual length as a single piece with 2 buckles one to adjust the length the other to connect one side to overlay leading to hook. Both Hooks are pretty easy to use have to push them forward on the bottom to open and just takes a little finger strength.

I have a box of mint condition NOS NIW 1950's dated GP Straps (New Old Stock, New In Wrapper, General Purpose Straps).
I plan on using one of those. If it's not what they used in the movie... it sure looks darn close!
