The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Personally i would be interested in a blank screen card as well as the one with the contacts on it.

Mr nick-a-tron sir. Going off the pictures I take it that the handle section is a solid piece? ( Probably has to be for added strength.) The reason I ask is that i'm trying to work out how easy/hard it would be to make the trigger actually work a light in the viewer.

Me to. Although if you're at a con then the 'multiple signs' one would make more sense.

Tasker: You could glue a 'airsoft style' pressure switch on the trigger the run the wires into body via a small channel in the surface of the handle, might save allot of dremel work :)

Hollowing out the solid handle would take alot of work. Id suggest making the rear dial/knob turn on the light(s) as that would be much easier.

Thanks for the replys gents.

I'd still like to have a go at trying to activate one with the trigger at some point. But you've given me a couple of ideas there that I probably wouldn't have thought of.

Ok, all things going as planned kits will go on sale on tuesday. In the meantime here are some (rather poor) photos of a finished kit (minus seletor switch).
