The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I have to ask, what is that cool Jonny Seven looking gun box with 422 on it???

A kango 422 hammer drill ... drill is for motion tracker body and carry case was also in the film as a workman's carry case/lunch box ?

Yes, was built by another member on here that started a build from the other end and ditched the build but was awesome enough to sell his tripod to me, its all machined aluminium and a quality build :)

Truly outstanding work! I can see some of the most insanely elusive details of the sentry gun have not been overlooked in your build. Only the most obsessive (like me) would likely notice them, which clearly shows the amount of thought and work you've put into it. I've been working on a much smaller scale model for nearly 10 years and would really enjoy discussing details with you sometime if you'd be interested.

Btw, are you planning to add the markings / decals to it at some point? That would be totally awesome!

Ha! Never seen a box for them before, looks like some sort of anti-aircraft MG from your pic!

Sure no probs ...I know I have missed some marks but it's pretty close and the overall effect is there ...I have since found more reference material so could get even closer ...if I could be bothered lol

No question. It's really an awesome piece of work just as is. But… if you should ever feel like making it a wee bit more SA, I have lots of blu-ray screen caps, drawings, and other reference material that might be of use! Some of what I'd suggest would be mostly cosmetic and relatively easy to do anyway, based on what you've already done. :) :delta:

I'm building the other sentry gun and would like to see what you got if you don't mind sharing ☺
My threads called sentry gun also, so we don't hijack this one

No problem Chris. Please send me a link to your thread via PM so I can have a look at it and bookmark it for future reference.

Great display and group pictures.
What's the brand name of the white/grey boxes?

Armourboy cases. But they are no longer available in Australia. Im sure they are just a rebranded case from China tho.

Where can a marine find one of these cases? The armourboy site links seem to be dead and I'm not returning too many results from a Google search?
