The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That flat piece with the hole in the middle sitting on top of that other part at the end of the cables...that looks like a solder lug. They used the same item on the Jedi communicators in Star Wars episode one.

The piece in the photo above?

That part has already been identified. It'f from the same model kit as a number of other parts.

Thanks Gio! Appears to be some type of metal retainer clip.

I should be able to easily dup it, if nobody can ID it.

Need to use Hama cables:

10in version is perfect length.
See how much larger the generic one is.
Online source in US for cables:

Update:

Started to putty the undercuts over the weekend.

Image

Then something started to bug me:

Image

Large cylinder was too far away from the body, and the top wasn't
rounded enough. Did a little surgery.

I have it back together now. Will post final picts soon.

Local molder will do these two main pieces...

Can't wait to finish this beast, and put it on the shelf.

Dropped off main greeblies to local molder.

I'm hoping to pick up molds + originals + one good casting of

each side Sunday or Monday. Then I can finish my helmet,

and send the greeblie molds to the person molding the remaining

small bits....

Stay tuned.
