In the comic books and in Alien 3, AVP and in AVPR the alien warriors were munching on people for food at one point or another. Especially In Alien 3 And AVPR there were alot of scenes with the warrior or warriors eating flesh.

if i recall right, don't the aliens eat a ryloth in the AVP comic? or it at least appears they are munching on the carcass.
