Same feeling here. I have colectors edition with marine and powerloader. Statue is good but the game is expendable. There are few good locations (except the Sulaco - the designers were braindeath) but as a whole the game is complete trash.

I got that game as a birthday present a few months ago.

I can't even be bothered to play it, I've heard so much bad stuff about it.

That´s OK. Just play it. It is generic coridor shooter with few really nice locations and guns, but nothing more. Brainwashed characters, crappy story, few aliens. The multipayer has some potencial, but it is not optimalized with lots of bugs.

it´s ok to have & play the game as a birthday present.

Sulaco is really bad designed (I mean the coridors)
The good stage is the Hadley´s Hope ...the smart gun part specially. The potencial is there, but it is not consistent, there are numerous WTF moments,characters are expendable and the final boss is point and click action....

I hate Randy Pitchford and his proclamations and it´s a pity that ALIENS franchise is beaten with such a people

It is allmost like neverending story. Another 5 years have passed (we partially know why....c19) ad nothing happend (in paper dropship project ).

I have good news. I´ve decreased the colaboration wit ABC nagazine and released my projects for download.....so, from now on i have free hand for long therm projects (DROPSHIP, NEMESIS) with some fast & easy ones (ASTRORACERS) between them.

If nothing unusual will happend ...

...I am back

p.s. in the meantime you can build a papermodel of the Mi-24 helicopter with Alien Tiger 2 livery on it. in 1:48 scale.

There are lots of materials and good builders too.
3D print is an interesting and fast way to realize such a project and safe lots of work. It´s a new phenomena.
It really help builder in their projects...and yes, I have 3d printer too.


Papermodel is different ..it is flat paper and...it has a texture, so the builder wil get final color of the model without aditional work.
Iknow....this type of work needs some basic skills....
.....ummm for me is crystal clear one thing -> papermodeling is the cheapest way to obtain studio scale model.
