The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So 3 more aliens are on, layout is pretty inal now, marines nearly all painted, i have an audio file all set for the speakers that are going in, progress pics

More aliens went in

Everythings niw pinned and painted, some minor weathering on the tank to do, mainly dust, dirt and light scratches. All the marines are on, every figure pinned in so its gonna look like this, final touches also include an alien fight soundtrack ..........an mp3 file with lines from the movie over james horners futile attack track, the case is being built as i speak.

On a side note, thanks to all for the comments and big thanks to ray for producing a kit. Without rays initial apc model none of this would be possible, id love to make another i had so much fun on this which is odd as i dont really like repeating builds of models.

WOW this is Just fantastic.

This is the 1/20(ish) one from the chap on the RPF?

I have been deliberating on getting this myself as I have my full team of custom 1/18th Marines (mainly customized HOT TOYS Snap Kit Marines with Vaz, Deitrich being custom built). Actually recently sold a full Marine group (film characters) I made on ebay too. So that`s two of us with this custom team of HOT TOYS goodness :D

Think I am totally sold now seeing this beastie with figures and having those crappy plastic TREE HOUSE figures (though you did an outstanding paint job on them) I know the Hot Toys one`s WILL work alongside this.

Fantastic diorama.

Whenever I see the APC I always think of this line... ""Ripley you've just blown the transaxle, you're just grinding metal. Ease down, Ease down."

Then I think, "Just grinding metal? Hell, I plan to drive this thing until the fuel runs out or were 200 clicks from this place, whichever comes first. Just grinding metal? I'll grind this APC to dust if that's what it takes to put a continent between us and those things back there. No go sit down and let me keep driving in a straight line away from this place."

Am I the only one that always thinks this when I watch Aliens?
