The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

New Funko/ReAction Alien figures available in November.

I don't like how they have Kane wearing that uniform with that facehugger as the two were never "together"...but I assume it was done because it was cheap to do so.

And I'll buy it anyway.

I wonder when they will release the Lambert and Dallas in Nostromonaut suits.

Is there a reason Dallas is nearly £5 cheaper than all the others??

I'd assume it's just an error in the listing. Everywhere I've seen the figures, they are all the same price.

I certainly hope for some marines.

I apparently got the Xeno with "evil glowing brains" from Loot Crate two years ago.

ALIENS figure photos are being blasted everywhere from Toy Fair. Hudson, Hicks, a new Ripley, Newt and Vasquez. The only problem I have at the moment is they have Hudson wearing knee pads....WHY??? I hope they get that fixed before production begins, otherwise we'll be buying an extra Hicks to exchange legs with Hudson.

for 18.99 each I'd rather buy Neca stuff. I'm definitely skipping these.
Youd think they'd at least have hired a consultant.

If the price goes any higher, I think they can forget about selling these. People are on the fence as it is.

Are they more expensive than the Alien line? Because they never seemed to have a problem being moved.

Yes they are. ReActions ALIEN line of figures were around $12.

I draw the line at obvious inaccuracies.
I think this kinda stuff is gonna crash the toy market eventually. right now people will buy anything and everything. Now everywhere I go theres vinyl figures and plushies and all kinds of clutter and coffee cups and playing cards and air fresheners and big headed toon versions of characters, all just nostalgia. once the market is saturated by phoned-in clutter and overpriced low quality cash grabs things are gonna get bad for the companies with integrity like NECA. if these were 4.99 I'd buy one, maybe, but these are a step back not a step forward. like they didnt even try with the marines.

long winded but i'll also add that I get what they are going for, vintage figures always left something to be desired, never quite right, but thats an aspect that lots of people probably wish theyd not incorporate
since its not a requirement with todays technology. low articulation is fine but look at those ab pads, anyone here whos an aliens nut like me could probably sketch out a better layout. I think weve gotta make this forum more known to the people holding the licenses, we are the best source of feedback that they could wish for.

The fact they made a new mold in order to recreate inaccurate knee pads when it would have been cheaper to use the same legs for Hicks and Hudson seems to me like the inaccuracies here were on purpose. I assume they are trying to achieve a retro 'not really paying attention, get it to production' vibe of the old days. That said, I respect the effort but am not impressed with the final product either. I also agree about the price. I could have sworn I saw the Alien line hit ToyRUs for $9 a pop.

I see these like the walmart line of Alien(s) figures. I am glad they are making them. I hope they do well, but I just dont think they are for me.

Received the three different warriors for my birthday. My wife picked them up on sale through Hot Topic of all places for around $13 each...free shipping. I know not many people like that they are inaccurate, under articulated and lack detail, but I like this asthetic. Reminds me of all the action figures I had when growing up and some of those I still have with me! If these had come out when I was a kid, I would have been all over them. I have only two of the three pictured, but I have opened all of them.

I hope to get pictures of them with Ripley, the power loader, my custom Newt and the Lanard APC. And I have to say that after the way they re-popped the ALIEN creature over and over in different colors, I'm surprised they didn't do just ONE version of the ALIENS warrior and do the same. Instead they gave us three, albeit slightly different versions in three different colors.
