The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

These figures are great (although I think the "screaming Hicks" in the 2pack is a little off)...

But NECA really missed the mark to me by not having a "screaming Dutch mud-camo" headsculpt. Even as just an alternate head.

I really wanted to recreate the shot where Dutch is screaming at the night sky after lighting the torch, for his call to battle.

A special look at the packaging for Colonial Marine Sgt. Windrix as part of the new Aliens Series 2 action figures. Series 2 ships to retailers on or around Dec 26th!

And success! A quick 30 second soak in HOT water and the thing darn near peels right off.

Fun facts when you get it off, the screaming Hicks head has pre-molded hair to accept a Racal Head set. Makes you wonder if Neca abandoned the plan to make final Med-lab battle Hicks at the last minute...or if the devious b@$tards are planning a 3rd release with the Racal. In any case, a little paint and resculpting, you can make your own.

But now I finally have the fully loaded up "Colony Sweep" Hicks that I wanted from the beginning!

And figured I'd do "Its readin' Right, man. Look" Hudson while I was at it.

Thanks for the after-surgery shot of Hicks head, I was about to ask you about that.

But I have to say, it still looks like the helmet rides a bit high still on Hicks.

Thanks for the pics. Guess I gotta pick up a couple to get the helmets. Neca is going to put me in the poor house. And yes I'd probably pick up a racial version as well if they made it, sigh...

Picked one up today and got the helmet off. I think I'm going to get a dremel to sand down the inside so it fits right unless any one has any tips for removing the peg inside the helmet.

I think a dremel is the way to go, just be careful and work slowly so you don't cut through the helmet.

It should go without saying, but even if you are just working with soft plastic, make sure you wear safety glasses!
It has a habit of forming little springy pieces of melty swarf that appear to have some sort of onboard guidance system, programmed to target your right eyeball with pinpoint accuracy!
