Wow. I cannot believe how many of you are dropping like flies on this!
I mean, I could understand if you had no or little money already down on this much anticipated item and then suddenly couldn't afford the rest in a lump sum payment. Things happen, finances change. Can't afford petrol for the car, or enough food for the family? By all means, cancel your order and get your money back. Know your priorities.
But to cancel simply because you cannot wait any longer? That just seems a little silly to me, especially in regards to such a long awaited holy grail to our collections. Perhaps if we were dealing with an unscrupulous individual making pulse rifles in his basement, or even a company that has had a less than stellar record (like Icons) -- then I could understand. It's better to get
some of your money back rather than none at all. That I get. But unless someone has heard something that I haven't, I have no reason to add my name to the list of drop outs.
I will be honest though... if these items are indeed being produced in China, the whole recent crackdown with China Customs does bother me a little. I don't know what the letter of the law is on replica firearms exported from China, but the whole situation over there does seem a bit sticky right now.
Regardless, I'm still on the list for a Brown Bess version with 3 of my 4 payments already made. I'm definitely a patient man, and continue to watch with anticipation when that last payment is made from my credit card.
However, if for any reason the release of this pulse rifle is pushed back to Christmas of 2010, I will give them until January 1st 2011 before requesting a cancellation and credit.
I've been waiting for aluminium shrouds for far too long.

well i guess its a good thing i don't have to justify my actions to you.
