The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK.. Here is my first PR. it is a G&P kit on a TM clone. I also added a Matt Mag base & FX kit from Replicate FX. I do need to take it apart and "adjust" the stock locking pin and attach the grenade cocking switch. I also need to come up with a way to mount the LED for the grenade launcher. Here is the site for the FX kits. Tim is easy to deal with. My kit came programmed with all the bells and whistles, but I went in and turned off the radio function.

Sorry about the bad pictures.
Image
I replaced the shotgun shell it originally had with a Spat Nade
Image
Here is a picture of the trigger (switch) for the Nade launcher
Image
Pulling the trigger causes the shot sound, counter to count down and this bright LED to light up...

After one of the most beautifull PR i saw,
Mine, the most Ugly you could find

Sorry for the bad pic quality
Image
A cheapo molded one, i ve done on it all the beganner mistakes, not fully paint the first layer but instead used stencil, result some part not cover by the right color, increase the stickness of the grip without any knowledge and talent, painting with brush the grip with a too fluid paint so drop on the frame part and mistake on paint making me using a light gun metal color on the Grenade laucher instead of a "dark" gun metal spay can like on the barrel stock
The frame and GL look "stainless" but not really in fact
The 2 kinds of resins used by the builder don't allowed to stick correctly the Barrel/grenade launcher part to the rest and not loading window for the 12. Gauge...percutor part made from cardboard cover with tape and paint with a magic silver pen...

I ve post it to Derek for D Con 08 and the glue wasn't strong enough BUT it made DCON08 8)
Derek help a lot, tried to hotglue it, AirborneMike tried to fix it with paracord and finally i hold it a way it look assembled
BUT this b.....d won't obey
Image

So as they advice on TV : Please don't do it

Being a new member here I have to read all the old threads from beginig to end. I find it somewhat amusing how far Pulse Rifle builds have come in the last several years. Some of the PR's from the begining of this thread are, unique, to say the least. I hope to add mine here in a few days after the electronics are installed.

Oh, and LSKIV, you have to start somewhere right? I'm sure your next one will be mucho better!

Hey LSKIV/Christophe

Looks like yours is the same kit as mine, before I worked on it and changed it into the modular system PR.

So if you can do a bit of work on it, you can make it a little better.

Chris, your PR may be cheapo... and may not be the sexiest of the bunch... but it's got guts. And guts is enough.

Christmas came early for me lads. Matsuo Claus has made a 12 year old's dream come true. I have been dreaming of owning an M41-A since I first saw Aliens and it has finally happened.

Here it is. The latest Matsucorp/SD Hero pulse rifle to leave Matt's shop. I hope the image quality is up to snuff. I'm not much of a photographer.

I can't thank Matt enough. He is a real stand up guy and does phenomenal work.

Thompson lower and bolt
SD upper, front block, and barrel
SPAS cage and grip
Remington 870 express (deactivated)
Thompson 20rd mag

Parts from Matsuo:

Shrouds
Handle
Metal Stock
Metal Barrel vent
Mag base
Functional electronics (counts down from 95 when trigger is pulled)

I had a really hard time deciding between brown bess or OD green for the shouds. Matt ultimately painted it BB and I couldn't be happier. BB has really grown on me and I am very glad I went with that color.
