The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

And another Paul, also known as Nerves, or P Nerves... or Paul. What have you. I have nothing at all, at this point, but hope to change that soon.

Oh, yeah. I'm old. I was a senior in High School when Aliens came out. I saw it in the theater... 6 times.

Welcome all you newbies! (They're coming outta the walls!)

Gear up, game on, and hope to see some of you at Dragon Con this year.

Paul, you're not old ... I'm old.

Denver... I'm in Parker.

You have an open invite to visit, check out my gear, and 1/6 APC, and get inspired/motivated to get some armor and the rest.

Stay Frosty!

VBR,
Chris

Hello all. Been a friend of SWFreak and Treadwell (and Tate if he's around here under some codename) for a while now. I've always loved Aliens and of course costuming and props. My first DragonCon was in 2000 and that one trip was enough to convince me to buy the lifetime pass, the ole Eternal Membership. My wife and I head to Atlanta every Labor Day weekend without a doubt. That's our biggy but we hit 4 or 5 other Multi-genre and Anime cons each year too on a regular basis.

It's good to be here:D

It's a shame they don't sell the lifetime pass anymore.

Welcome aboard!

They had some last year as two friends of mine were inquiring. The price has gone up but it seems a few make themselves available every once in a while. Last year seemed the first I'd heard of them in quite a while. Can't hurt to email or call them to find out for sure.

Met Harry Harris at the weekend and realised I haven't been here before, how come? Not sure.

Really cool chatting with 'da man', and getting to see the Hudson armour up close and personal was great.

I'm one of the UKG guys who've started a UKG platoon of USCM.

Some people may have seen me on lots of other boards.

Hey guys,

Ahhh... I mean... "New recruit, reporting for duty..SIR!"

My name is Phil, I am one of the UKG members who are being lured away from Imperial Stormtrooper armour to the more pleasing colour of Olive Drab.

I'm 32, reside in London, UK, and have been a member of the UK Garrison for some years. I've also been a huge ALIENS fan since it first came out, leading to collecting and building model kits and then later getting into the RPG.

I've ALWAYS wanted to do a Marine costume, but never thought I'd be able to, until Geordi arranged a bulk UKG Spat-order and the doors opened!

It's sucking up much more money than I first realised, especially trying to do the whole thing in one go (almost), but what the heck, it's only money...

BDU's are on the way, about to order the Spatarmour (he's awaiting my payment), lots of accesories on their way too (sidearm, grenades, tracker etc.)

Don't worry guys, I'm not a COMPLETE noobie. I've done 43 combat drops. Simulated...

his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a
