The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Fantastic pictures!

Seems like left exhaust port from the rear of the Tomahawk kit was used on the left side of the sight unit.

Cheers,
Stefan

The glass part looks like the viewfinder from a point and shoot 110 camera.

I would like to throw out another big thanks to Giò for providing these photos.

Very generous of you and as a result has removed a very big cloud of mystery surrounding a prominent Aliens prop.

Thanks for sharing.

* oh.. it just hit me.

If you don't mind, will you snap one or two shots of the inside of the helmet?

What's the diameter of the circle cut out on the right side of the helmet?

Matt,

that's a really nice breakup of the parts! What motorcycle kit did you get that chrome part from? Looks like we can rule that one out. However, the scale seems to fit.

Cheers,
Stefan

BS,

Thanks!

Harley Davidson Electra Glide 1:12 Revell

The scale is correct, but just need to find one where the large

Cylinder has a secondary cap, and not buit in like the one I got.

I have a low rider on the way - let's see if that's the one.

Matt,

after looking at your pictures, I noticed that you used the left part of Tomahawks left leg. Initially, that was my thought too. However, if you have a look at the place where the joint (the round part) and the upper leg meet, you'll notice that the left part of the right leg would be correct.

Cheers,
Stefan

Nobody seemed to comment on this, the above posted colored breakdown has a question as to whether this arm piece you have highlighted in this pic in green is a door exit alarm/siren piece....Is the arm piece not correct, or of the wrong scale...because to me it looked like you had something there.
