For an American, I can do many accents.

German, Russian, British (both sophisticated and cockney)... probably a few others.

Interesting. I could probably imitate it if I heard it. My ability to imitate d**n near anything I hear really helped me out when I was studying Chinese in high school.

If you think the kick from that tiny 5.56 round is hard though, you should have tried the old British 7.62 favourite the SLR.
Never shot an M14 but I'd imagine we're talking a similiar kick.
We used to take the foam from ammo boxes an put a piece against our shoulder under our shirts if it was going to be a long day on the range.

The Canadian army had FNs (same as the SLR) before the C7. Back when I was an Air Cadet, they used to allow us to fire FNs for range day. Never got the chance to fire one myself as they eventually restricted Cadets to firing Lee Enfield mk4s in the early 80s.

Apparently the FN had enough kick to send a small kid flying backwards.

Hehe, why thanks! I'll take that as a compliment. Though...I've been called a modern time hippie...not that I am...but yeah. I'm probably considered a liberal, but I don't care, I am carrying a gun. I'll need it for when the zombies attack.

Kev - I won't have pics till probably sometime next week. Its from a gentleman in Colorado and I was ordered to purchase it so I did like I was told, like a good little girl. I have a really great costumer putting it together for me so I've no doubt it'll turn out well. Besides, he knows I know how to use a gun now.

Labels are for soup-cans, anyway. Not people. You're carrying a gun and that's all that matters. You'll be safer, in the long run.
