The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Don't know about that smile on Ripley's face. Making the lego Pulse rifle Utube clip is a great one. I don't know if anyone has the link to it. I don't know how to put a link on here yet

There's a few different Lego PRs on YT, which one did you mean?

Putting links on here is easy, as images (usually ending in .jpg, .png, etc.) use the image tags also available from the menu just about the window you type the post in.

For YouTube, just paste the URL:

The one where the guy makes the half sized Green and Dark grey/black PR in a minute or two, the film being sped up. I didn't know there was another one

Found a half size one, but it resembles the ones in Halo/Half Life and only shows it built:

No others found on search match your description, so may have been removed.

Mike that's it, beautiful work. Is there actually an instruction book for that, that one can buy? I know a lego dealer (second hand lego supplier) who could get me the bits.

The only instruction book is the one you see in the video, which I had to draw, print out and bind myself. (The instructions which the Lego program generates for you are a bit rubbish unfortunately.)

It never occurred to me to try and sell them! :|

That's the one I posted first, but was told that it wasn't the one he meant.

I really wish that Lego's would release official kits. Those lego pulse rifles are pretty cool!

One of the comments on Mike's YouTube video was "did anyone see the other hand at 2:48, that was kinda creepy" ...or... someone else was also there! D'oh!
