well, we'll see what happens. there's like a day and a half left on the auction, so if it isn't someone from this board after all, I'm going to leave the auction alone for now and then snipe it right before it closes. With any luck I'll have a spare flash body to sell to one of you guys.

Welp, didn't get it. The short version of the story is, somebody got impatient and jumped the gun, and the price shot up to about $120 with 2 hours still to go on the auction, so I didn't even bother. Better luck next time.

DAMMITT - I just got a DT-159 because I thought that was the right headset!!

Ah well - Got me a working M560 for an M1 Helm now, at least :D

Just to give you a heads-up, it took me 8 months of searching (including getting scammed once on eBay) to find my HM-560. They've probably been out of production since the early 90s or late 80s, and are exceedingly rare - even moreso than the Olympus flash. Don't take that as saying you shouldn't try, just want you to have an accurate idea of what you're getting into. :)

Wasn't someone working on making resin copies of the 560, though? Unless you really, really want to have the real deal, I would highly suggest going the replica route if you can :)
