The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

PVB Unfortunately they are now only available on the second-hand market but they do crop up now and again.

I have MAAs, so don't need any, but maybe someone else might find the info useful. :)

Maybe the powers that be could organize a second run - I know I'd be interested in a set or two...

Because of the copyright issues with making runs of licensed products, the people involved are keeping quiet (which is the right thing to do).

To try and explain: there was another maker of very screen accurate BDUs. We're talking an exact match. However they were probably too expensive for the average grunt (they were custom made after all). Because of the clandestine behaviour of the company itself- they did not "take off" in sales so to speak. This is not to say they did not do well... Frankly because they were so secretive, it's hard to know how well they did at all! Once their initial run was finished, that was it. No more BDUs.

No too long afterward, MAA came along and with his business that already makes reproduction Vietman era uniforms (I'm sure that's not all- but it is what comes to mind first), and was able to offer a relatively inexpensive, quality set of screen accurate BDUs.

So there it is in a nutshell.
