Nope, I did not finish it. The method was very wrong. I was trying to force shape it around a plaster cast of the shroud.
I believe it would be more efficient with mainly folding and welding. I think forming should stay minimum. I'll try soon to create a metal sheet form in a CAD software this Summer. If it works, That would make a good template to transfer on aluminium and go through the process of Bending and welding. :)

1050 grade ally would be best in terms of formability as it's most ductile with the least springback.

Welding ally is one of the most difficult to do due to relatively low melt point etc At those thin gauges, blow through will be a problem too.
