The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Money is extremely tight right now... as in, still waiting on over two grand the Navy was supposed to have given me a month ago, tight. I'll see what my budget looks like after I finally get paid and all my other responsibilities are taken care of, though.

Very good. We have enough for our flag and a pole, they have been ordered.

Image

If any other marine wants to throw an additional $10, we can have a mighty spear atop our flag pole.

Image

Any more further donations will go towards a holster.

Now THAT'S classy.

I was in a volunteer performing unit while I was doing my training in Pensacola... did more color guards there than I can count, hehe. We even had the responsibility (the honor, I'd say) of doing morning and evening colors for the training base every day. I'd be happy to give a "crash course" in color bearing to whoever the lucky sap is, if they need it. Just lemme know in Atlanta :)

I don't think we need anything incredibly complex... keep in mind we're dealing with civvies, Sean... not everyone has had the pleasure of military service like us. :) :D

I made the big mistake of trying to coordinate the troops last year... big mistake  I'll take a relaxed attitude to life this year. :)

[Stands to attention, saluting, with a tear in his eye] 8)

I guessed it'd be used on many future drops, rather than raffled?

Uh... no.

As far as I'm concerned, this flag is property of all who donated to it and can be sent to any of these people on temporary loan for any planned Colonial Marine gathering. Meanwhile, I retain the right to be its primary curator.
