I pulled the trigger and did my graffiti. This is a Slovenian expression meaning "death for death". I had originally planned to write this on the side of the SG, but it wouldn't have fit in the available space.
I also devised a hitch for the bottom half of the connector for the headset. Drake had his gaffer taped to his steadycam vest, and Vasquez had hers dangling all over the place. This keeps it out of the way, discreetly displayed, and integrated into the armour.

I have to get my head measured and order a cap off military1st.com. I have to use the cap to offset the weight of my fully functional headset.

All I have left to do is program in the GPS. kinda burnt out on that though...

After holding the real SmartGun at PropStore's event last month I couldn't go back to the 3D printed version. So I am now sourcing vintage MG42 components for the receiver.

Thanks to a lead from Moosh I now have the correct lever on the way for my build.
