The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Got to find a red a button and a side clip!

My thoughts are that the button just happened to be made of red plastic and was stuck to the welder body, but it didn't take the paint too well and it rubbed/chipped off.

I reckon you’re right Harry… it’s nice to see an original prop after all these years…

As a point of interest on HUDSON’s armour… on the back… the lower left bracket has a paracord loop tied around it and the para cord goes down to his left side / hip area and runs behind the lower rear flap of the armour… see the attached image, Harry… had you seen that before? Wonder what is attached to it? It could be the hack pouch or the hand welder or something else?

Just caught a glimpse of a welder on the most recent Tested/propstore video showing the blade sword.

As with many props, I'm sure there's several in private collections.

It’s the only one we have seen in all these years…
