The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Rest in peace, Mr. Steedman. You were well loved by this community, and rightly so from what I've read and heard.

'Ski will live on and so will you!

I'm really struggling with this one. Trev was such a generous man. I was an avid "Wierzbowski Hunter" back in the early nineties and really rejoiced in finding another "Ski" (not many movie characters with names as weird as mine). Anyway, after Trev's first stroke I wrote him to let him know how important he was to me. I wasn't expecting to hear back from him so when ADC sent me a message saying Trev was offering to do a role in my short film I was blown away. I will always cherish this gift. I have take after take of the big man riffing on the dialogue I sent him, the lines getting progressively filthier as he went along. So while we never met in person I am feeling this loss very keenly and I am so very sorry for the pain his family is going through. They are in my thoughts!

Never did I think the photos I took at the NSC would mean so much :(

Farewell Marine. And if there isn't a huge gigantic fuck of a party happening where you are just now, you're slacking!

Very sad to hear about Trevor's passing.

At one of my first conventions Trevor was signing a free autograph for everyone (there was a choice of someone from Harry Potter instead, but that wasn't a real choice). It was my first Alien Universe autograph and what set me on the journey to grab many more. It also resulted in me finding you guys and getting my armour.

Thank you, Trevor.

*salute*

Oh dear oh dear. And at this point sorry to the whole board that I haven't been around for quite some time. It was only the other day when I spoke last to ADC on the phone that he informed me about his other second stroke last week. All the more devastated am I now to hear the latest news. So here are my deepest condolences for him and I consider myself glad that at least twice I had the opportunity to meet him in person when he was still alive.

His whole down to earth character (from what I 've observed) was a n inspiration to me and will certainly be missed.

Rest in peace, sir...!

Well sonuvabitch. THE Colonial Marine I really wanted to meet. Damn, wouldn't DragonCon have been truly Legendary if he'd have been able to come?

Always a personable fellow, seemed to genuinely enjoy us. Shared a few messages back and forth, my initial impression was: "What a cool guy".

Rest In Peace.

Kris,

That was an awesome tribute. Nicely done.

I found a place online that makes custom wristbands and memorial bracelets for fallen heroes. Im planning on ordering one to wear in his honor at Dragon*Con. If anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll send you the link.

Now that`s really bitter considering how he fought the first stroke.

Will raise a toast for this fallen Marine later today.

Thanks ADC...

Oh, for fuck's sake... :(

I only met Trevor a couple of times, and he was so very nice. At the time I found him joking with some others in such open and, yes, filthy ways, that I assumed they'd known each other for years, and kept a certain distance so as to not intrude upon personal friend time. It took me a while to realise that he was apparently like that with all of us - if not everyone, full stop. Kind, friendly, uproariously funny and oh so foul-mouthed.
You'll be missed, Trev. I won't wish you to rest in peace. Instead, I fervently hope you're somewhere in some sort of Valhalla-like afterlife, cursing a blue and OD green streak, making maximum mischief ... and keeping us all seats, dammit!!

So long, Marine - and my deepest condolences to your family.
