Ok... Ive been crawling along.... This is where I am at now.

there is the hand guard attach ring that goes between the two receivers (the backwards one and the aft forward facing one). what direction does it face? I cant really tell in the pictures. The ring has a taper to it and I think it tapers aft as if it were attached to the forward receiver..... :( I'll remove the forward sight on the M203 hand guard soon enough.

This will be as far as I get as I have to put a stoppage on it to get my Service C shirt sewn up and a new speaker on my smart gun... So with a little luck I can pick it up in a month....
