The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

He ended it. It's listed as unsold. He must have gotten cold feet.

Actually, I think someone swooped in and made an offer big enough for him to take it down and sell it off eBay.

Exactly the first thing that came into my head Willie.

Well, an anticlimactic end to a surprising story. Hope it found a good home.

They did not sell. I messaged the seller because I am interested. Apparently, he took it down, because only the BDU top was Hicks'. The pants have the name 'Mark' written in them, implying that they were likely Drake's. He is trying to confirm this all and hopefully will relist the items - I was definitely tempted.

Well at least he's being fair and honest. Top chap.

I'm glad that it wasn't because someone offered him a private deal, I don't think that's very sporting when folks do that on eBay.

Harry

Yeah he's said the same to me in a message. Really glad to hear he is genuine.

Yeah, direct to the forum, not via Photobucket and such, please. :)

For what it's worth, these were sold to a private collector and won't be relisted :(

I can understand the seller wanting as much as he could get and it was probably a very large offer but it's not very fair and it's a shame they will probably never be seen in public again!!

It's the same end result though honestly. The sporting thing would have just been to bid like everyone else, but there was no saying any possible winner was going to publicly display them.
