The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

My pleasure. Thanks for looking. I'll be uploading the 3d printed parts to thingiverse for anyone who wants them when I get back from my vacation next week. Cheers

Hi all,

the parts are up on thingiverse now for those who wish to use them. Bear in mind that they were originally designed for my deactivated gu. They may work on an airsoft version so long as the scaling is fairly similar.

hope it helps

Here is the camera model i'm using for the gun. I'm mounting it using magnets which will allow me to remove it and wire it up if I decide to light up the led's (which I can't be bothered with right now if i'm honest). I've dry brushed some silver paint on it for a bit of weathering. It could be better but it's not really the main event when you are looking at it so i'm calling it done.

So here is the print. I think it came out ok. I can improve the overall surface quality of it by filling and sanding so it'll be serviceable. I'll upload it to thingiverse later if anyone is interested

yeah pretty pleased with it, glad I didn't throw it away as I was seriously thinking of it a couple of years ago.
