The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I wouldn't worry about clothing, I don't know anyone that sells ALIENS Colonial Marine costumes, but there are a few that sell custom patterned costumes that come close.

I would rather purchase the BDUs from you guys than from some over priced company who will not be around after they no longer have the license. Same with other non armor parts. I see those having more of a chance of production.

Thanks!

OK. Everybody take a deep breath. These guys are in the business of providing replica stuff. It is an evil cut-throat nasty business. Lots of people get in trouble when they try to monetize stuff for fans.
I am grateful that they are doing the BSG #6 red dress. Even if my wife never wears it I am going to buy it for her regardless of the price. The alternative is getting a seamstress to custom make one.
I think the common consensus is that there is not a big enough market for commercial success and they could hurt the ones that are currently providing a service for the small niche fan base.

I agree with that assessment, but nonetheless I'd like to hear more about the Terry English "molds"

If they undertook the task of making ALIEN clothing then there is definetly a market for those.
I personally would love a jacket like Dallas'.

Sorry for the off-topic.

@ 88reaper88: This guy did used to make Alien crew shirts (and some other bits I vaguely remember) - http://www.magnoliclothiers.com/index.php

Not cheap but very nice and custom made to your size. If you're keen, it'd be worth contacting Anthony @ the above and asked (I'm sure he'd still have the patterns).

Even then, trying to get all the details correct for an ALIEN costume is a good bit of money. To be honest, people who want movie accurate details probably aren't going to bother with a "mass produced" item, and people who don't care about the details can get it a hell of a lot cheaper.

Either way, for ALIEN or Aliens, I just don't see the market for it.

Well, I asked GotMaul over on the RPF ( I believe he's one of the head honchos at Anovos ), and:

Quote:
Scapey: To date, we don't have any plans that are set with Aliens. We do love the franchise and I think the reference to Terry English armor was probably in wishful thought or talking about our friend's armor pieces.

So there you have it.
