They don't need to have one now, just needed to have access to it at some point in the history of the prop. But it doesnt really matter, it's their claim, not mine.
But of course I am aware this funky long body is the one with the electrics & functionality. That is my point. The GUL kit's viewer is a funky long one with different ridges and dimensions than the regular smaller 'viewer' used on the other versions.
That is why I am saying its possible the horribly inaccurate viewer on the GUL kit looks the way it does because it was indeed cast off the version of the real prop that was never intended to be seen from the side. But again, it doesn't matter, just possibly a bit of nifty back story in the history of resin props.
