WOW, that armor is pretty damn close!

Yeah. There's these slots/holes in to the design, so I'll have to find some way to fill them in or cover them, somehow. You know, to get it a little more USCM-ish.

I keep hearing people saying '06 was a crap year. Why is that?

Mine was alright, in all honesty. I lost my best friend to the Iraq conflict last April, but aside from that, '06 was great. I heard Dragoncon was a blast and I got to debut my USCM gear at my local con. But I can't, for the life of me, find anything bad.

Well started off good till Feb in 06,then lost a total of 5 family members inc my mum throughout the rest of the year.
my mum passed away in Oct 06 from cancer.

This year,we`ve started off with a great start with a new daughter (In Feb) & things are on the up & Up.
Just looking forward,rather than back.

nice one D.B.M!! in about 2/3 months i too will be ordering my armor from Spat! then all i need is the bdu's from MAA, motion tracker, webbing, grenades, welder, boots and lamp. *sigh*

AAUUGGHH! Don't remind me about all that extra gear (already have the BDUs, though, thankfully ). There's still lots to buy for my costume, as well. I plan on picking up the CORRECT boots this Saturday, as well.

Yeah, I hear those boots ARE hard to find. I'm just getting a "close enough" pair. Although I'm a sucker for screen-accuracy, no one's gonna look at your feet when you've got a Pulse Rifle, armor and a shoulder lamp.

Good to hear your almost there with cash DBM for the Spat Armour

I am so looking forward to the Boxes arriving (Spat Armour & MAA 2Pat BDUs & helm cover),if I`m lucky they`ll arrive at the same time too or same week.

The lamp is the next thing on the list for me to save for.

I am going to try my hand & make my own MT using original parts,though seeing Friendlyskies MT earlier this week up for grabs,I toyed with going for tht instead...LOL

Thank`s to Fal I was able to secure a pair of size 14 (UK) Jungle boots

Currently working on my belt orders (doing 2 versions).

Though welder,grenades are on the Have to get list too.

I got a kick-ass paycheck today. I'll be paying for the armor tomorrow, when I deposit the money. OOOOHHHH, I can't wait! Hopefully, I'll have it before August, if everything goes to plan.

Is there some higher power at work here? Is there some f***ing REASON why I'm being prevented from purchasing this armor?! I go to pay on Friday and find out I've gotta wait at least forty-eight hours for paypal to confirm one my secondary bank account (the "Armor Fund"). Today, on Saturday, I transfer money from the "Armor Fund" to my primary, now it's telling me my card's been denied!
