I still got to work on how i connect the arm to the gun. I've seen some examples but still really can't figure out how to do it. Please keep us posted on how you do it. Thx for the updates

woot woot just checked DHL's site it is at my place right now so i will have the wife put on the rig and take pix and see if i can jimmy right the gun to it. now i hope my rare earth magnets are in today and the SG will be almost done. also i will be working on her chest plate when i get home also so i hope to have that primed tonight.

O we both can not wait Retro she is so happy with this build and we were sad at first cuz there are no cons till January and i was goin to be home on leave. and just found out that there will be a con up there at the same time so hell why not first drop at the first of the new year.

Well here is the rig and gun and she is using my chest plate for now. still have a few things to do and i would luv to make a mounting bracket but i might just get one from Matsuo. jsut wondering how to take the pin out of the arm that the bracket would slide onto so if anyone has this rig know plz help. and also what do you think everyone, She might be one of the shortest Gunners lol.

Looking good . Nice arm . That vest is really sturdy and comfortable compared to some other steadicam vest . Looking good so far marine !

I sprayed the edges in side of the vest to make the orange color become black .

thanks matt and she is super happy with it. i made her wear the vest for a half hour to get used to it lol will be painting it soon and just need to get a bracket for the arm now.

So the vest is being turned black, the arm is repainted black. and i have started a scratch built headset for the time being since we have a con in 2 weeks. and also the chest plate is done just need to weather it and add a name and art to it.

Ok small update wife just ordered the battery from Spat from his Ebay site so cant wait for that to come in. the are and vest are all black. ordered a mount from Matsuo that should be in this week and will have that mounded ASAP. got to finish a few small things and will have pix up of those in the next few days. and also have our first drop this Saturday she is so happy to run this. and so am I.

well yesterday the bracket and battery came in so those are mounted and the whole kit looks great still need some things to make it 100% but for the time w had and the cash it looks great. later today i will be posting pix of her wear the whole thing. The Drop is tomorrow and i have been cleared of Duty so we will be headed up early.

Great news man! Down to the wire but it sounds like it's all going to work out. I've got a drop on Sunday so I'm finishing up a welder as quick as I can.

o yeah but i have learned between cons and working on a halo film it alwasy comes down to the wire. and i still have to finish the paint job on my Helm for my Rifleman. but will try to have pix of us both up tonight. if not tomorrow with Drop pix.
