I got all the electrics installed in the gun last night and am now working on the barrel and the overall finish to get it how I want it.

PS: If you have build a shoulder light and kept the reflecta parts you didn't use, then you'll have the original barrel vent for the Sentry.

Wow, this progress has been really fast. When that camera shows up on top there it's going to be impeccable.

Hey again folks,
I have done a little more work on the tracking system and its almost there .... just need the motor speed controler to arrive so I can slow the pan down a bit and that should increase accuracy.

question: are you going to add a smoke generator of some sort to it? bet it would look even more awesome when firing if there was small whisps of smoke.

I have thought of it but just can't find anything that is small enough and that runs on 12v DC.

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this or if you guys realise it ... but... this whole thing runs off "the battery pack"
It has 2 X 12v gel cell batteries in it.... and EVERYTHING runs off that... so the unit can be completely transportable and independent .... no power connections needed.

Have you thought of trying the Smoke Generators used on the larger scale model tanks they should meet your size and voltage requirements?
