The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Not only are those not sergeant's stripes, that is the Command Sergeant Major's stripes... a rather ostentatious rank. I would recommend perhaps Private or PFC.

I've heard PFC's have more fun.

I thought they were Gunnery Sergents stripes, any way I've got to be honest I picked the rank because I liked the sound of it and the look of the patch, when I come to make my proper UKCM kit (with armor etc) that will be of a lower rank.

Ok another update, I think ive got the last part for this (for the time being).....

just poped into my local surplus store and got myself a holseter and a cheep as chips bb gun (its somwere between a S&W and a 1911 i think...) The holser is ment to be an under arm job but even with out the jacket on this thing wouldnt fit me! Ive kinda rigged it as a chest harness using the velcro on the jacket. Ignor the blueness of the pistol i will work on that, and the crapness of the photo. this is what happens when liz is at work and i need a photo taking!

That's just science fiction though!

The reality is what happened in Timecop. 8)

I scan the threads - just a wee bit busy! Got to be honest, though, the resemblance is awful freaky.

I dunno, I think CheifProfanity looks like Pete and Fargo from Eureka gave us a UKCM love child.
