Hi everyone! I wasn't aware there was an Aliens community until I came across something on Facebook about it; glad to see you all here. I have been a horror fan since I can remember and was shown this franchise at a young age. I've loved it since. Our dining room is even decorated exclusively Aliens in nature - doesn't everyone eat with their pulse rifle? I cosplay as a hobby; between my husband and I, we are at 56 costumes and counting. I'm in both the 501st Legion (Imperial Gunner, Jawa, Bo-Katan) and The Finest (GI Joe: Baroness, Scarlett, Snow Serpent)...and OF COURSE I cosplay Ripley: https://nixlyn.smugmug.com/Cosplay/Ripley-Hudson/ I'm looking forward to poking around here and seeing what's up! |

Morning, Marines! Thanks for accepting me! It is truly an honor to be a part of the community. I've been a fan of Aliens since the first movie. But Aliens 2 was the movie that made me want to be a colonial marine. Formerly an Air Force pilot, my first real drop was in 1988. Military training and the chain of command is not unknown to me. Relearned of this community from Replica Prop Forum, and went to make an account and discovered I've got this ancient once I never used from 2009! I want to build a dart firing replica of the smartgun based on an MG42 dart blaster that's recently come out of china, inspired by this korean youtube I found. https://youtu.be/wp7UvL7iYgc Currently waiting for it to arrive from china to start by build, but I've also recently moved to Central Europe with my wife, so all my tools are currently floating across the atlantic from North America, so not sure which will arrive here first, the blaster or my screwdrivers! |

Hey everyone, long-time lurker of this forum and the Sci-fi Military forum ( Does it still exist?). I got my first set of TE armor over 10 years ago and a set from Spatcave. I have been the only colonial marine in my country for what seems like forever until now. With Nerf releasing their version of the Pulse rifle, it seems like the fanbase has been revitalized and maybe just maybe I won't be the only marine in my country anymore LOL |
