Many of you have already seen this (see Matt's post above) and were probably wondering who the lucky bastard was that got it. Well, it was me. I have been collecting the parts for this thing for almost 5 years now. When I had everything, I sent them to Matt (Matsucorp) to do his magic. As you can see the results were incredible. Matt did an amazing job of realizing my dream of an all black Pulse Rifle. Much better then my SD in many ways. Matt, you f*&king rock dude!

The Specs....

SD Parts - Receiver, barrel, grenade launcher block.
Matsucorp Parts - Shroud Kit, vent, stock, grip, caseless ammo.
Real Parts - Litton M845 Nightvison scope, Demilled 870, Thompson grip frame, Thompson bolt, Thompson 20 round mag, Spas cage and pump handle.
Mnoble2 - Black sling (See Matt...it's actually on the gun.
Benderama - Aluminum clip bottoms.

Thanks Mike! That is a small battery pack that I am developing for my airsoft PR. Actually, it is in all three images. Currently, it only powers the counter display for this one. One of these days, he should be able to handle a few bursts of fire. Placing it in the stock allows for easy access. As a bonus, a standard AC adapter can be plugged into it for casual shelf display. Thanks GB!! Will do, will do.

I just re did the SAW, chopped the barrel, and added a barrel support.
It's almost a toltal redux of the original, new upper receiver, shoulder stock, and barrel, with a fresh new coat of paint.

I can't wait to receive this tomorrow. I'm really glad we went with the G36 flash hider and under barrel gas tube. They give the SAW some extra teeth that I think the old design needed. Love it!!! Sadly... this will not make an appearance at Dragon Con, so sorry everyone.

Yeah, Kev! Remember how much we were drooling over this bad-ass weapon that year? I just had to have it, and I was definitely going through withdrawal with its absence during D'Con 2005.

One of the many things I love about this new configuration is that the shortened barrel makes it feel closer to a Para version of the SAW... and you know I'm all about the Para/Special Ops stuff!

That happened on my SAW too. I'm going to re do the loop, but I'll do it without welding.

I'll take care of it, I had one break on me...I had a guy make the loops for me and I think he used crappy steel, or at least a different grade than the rest of the parts of made of. So when I welded them, the ammount of heat I had to apply to get them to puddle on the sheet metal probably made the wire brittle. I'm going to replace al the loops on the parts I have already assembled and discard the rest of the loops I had made.

Here's another view...



Alex, the counter is a static job that I instaled, pretty easy.
Cut the hole for the LED unit, glue in 1/4 inch stand offs, and hot glue the board in place. The glue oozes through the holes in the board and secures it...and also acts as a shock absorber of sorts. I'm a big fan of hot glue theese days.
