The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Thanks for keeping us posted, Matt. I'd almost be willing to fly over to Taiwan or wherever and pick up the armor kit in person if that would make it any easier. I'd still rather have the armor than a refund, but there are times, like now, when I could really use the cash.

If you could get any sort of update for us on what's going on with the armor kits next time you're in contact with MAA, it would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. 8)

This is a hypothetical idea, if Mud were to fly over to Taiwan and pick up his armor kit in person. I would not be opposed to having him ship out my BDU order, unless MAA intends to ship it sometime soon. Either way I will wait for Noble's Next update and see what he says.

Unfortunately, no.

There is a possibility that he could drop off a box at my mother-in-law's before she comes here in a few
weeks.

We'll see...

Ha, ha, I had already forgotten about my order. If it shows up I'm glad if it doesn't it meant I never really had them from the beginning so I hope he buys a few cases of beer for the money. I have no hard feelings on him taking time, he's probably having things up to his ears or he would have shipped the stuff long ago. Just don't forget me after things got straiten out over there...

Thanks

Jonsey

That's pretty forgiving considering how much money you're out.

Indeed - The guy's attitude stunk for a long time; and for him to drop all comms the way he seems to have done, when it's clear he DOES have web access, shows a total and utter lack of respect for his customers.

Understatement of the century. I feel terrible for the guys who had orders in with him that never shipped, but I think the group as a whole is better off without him. I really and truly hope you guys do one day get the products you paid for, or at least a refund, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think I have to wait for the product, as the email address attached to the paypal that I sent him the money was hacked. Tried for the life of me to retrieve it, no luck so far. Then I stupidly forgot the pass to paypal a few times, so to recover it have to go through snail mail, which takes months(still waiting for them to send something back). Long story short there would it would be almost impossible to get the money from paypal to my bank account. So I guess I will just have to keep waiting to receive my BDUs. Hopefully Matt(Noble) will have more updates for us soon. If not oh well, I really am grateful for all his hard work on contacting MAA, and keeping us updated on our orders!!!

My guess is everyone is over the 45 day period so PayPal would not be able to help anyway.

Well I just mean with my situation if MAA actually on the small chance refunded our(the 6 or 7 people who ordered BDU's around Dec/Jan) I still would be un able to recover the paypal funds to become real cash in my pocket. You are definately right though Tony I know I am way over the 45 days, since I ordered I think late Dec/early Jan

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I have been waiting since mid Dec. of 2010 for my BDU's, and out $230... I'm guessing I will never see the money or the BDU's... Ever!?!

I know it's not your headache Matt, but do you have any updates?

Thanks;
Tyler

I got that beat! Waiting since May of 2009 and out $670 for a set of armor. Still have a small amount of hope, but not really holding my breath. Not the first time I've been ripped off in this hobby, probably won't be the last, but it is disappointing, nonetheless.
