The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Any chance of getting a phot of the mural on that one wall, the one that has what looks like carved panels of facehuggers, eggs and what=not?

Just a quick update since a new random grunt marine has joined my squad.
This is a slightly older gent who knows his way with a shotgun...

I am in dire need of extra helmets, any ideas that don't include buying multiple Newts and/or Frosts? Are casts available?

This is my first post here, I actually found this site while searching for other custom Neca marines on google images and saw the old version of my Apone custom

I have a few custom Colonial Marines, I've posted some on the AVPG forum but I've started reworking a lot of them.
These are the only 3 that have gone untouched.

and these are the newest WIP's I'm working on. I need to repaint the armor and add some custom decals still, as well as change their kits up a bit.
If anyone was wondering about heads for their USCM grunts I found some more to scale heads that will work with some modification.
Mcfarlanes "Color Top" series. These are made from Abraham, Daryl, and Rick from The Walking Dead part of the line.

Smart Gunner's
Arnold is an upper body swap with a repainted shirt.
Terry has a bit more custom work, arm transplants to the Frost body and he's using the vest from The Walking Dead Daryl figure repainted to look like Drake's flak jacket. I think it works pretty well.

I'll try to get decent pictures over the holiday.

Great work there. You can tell a lot of work went into them and it shows. Daryl and Rick look right at home as Marines.

Great work. They do look like they have seen their share of the action.

Thanks for the reply, I've seen a lit of people do the other marines from the movie. It was my original intention to just do customs of the rest of the squad but AVP2010 and ACM inspired me to do some customs. I have a few more I have to work on plus a diorama idea I'm tossing around.

This is my last custom of 2016. Well, he may be the first of 2017 because I'm not sure how I feel about his armor graffiti. I know I wanted the "Big Bad Wolf" part to look like a sticker simmilar to the one Frost has on his shoulder. The wolf decal didn't translate as well as I would have liked, so I may "tear" and weather it with some paint to make up for that.
McFarlane Connor head/Arm band on Hicks's body. I may also put the other arm band on his other bicep.

Hey! Those look great, especially the Rick head (love that you put the Daryl head on the sleeveless Hicks body, too). How much modification did it take to make the heads fit the neck-posts? :)

Thanks!
It actually depends on the head. Abraham took the most work, followed by Rick. Daryl and Connor were really easy though.
It's mostly cutting down the top of the head to fit inside the helmet and dremeling/carving out the neck socket to fit the NECA ball post. It varies head to head. It's really easy though, I would say the most difficult part is deciding how much of the upper head you want to take off in order to get the helmet to sit how you want it to sit.

Hey just saw this on Facebook. I just sent a message to Neca customer service on twitter so we'll see what happens. I was a bit disappointed that Vasquez's smartgun didnt have adios on it.
