The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Looks like a custom to me. It's this supposed to be something official? Hat wrong way for that scene and entirely recycled hicks body including shin guards and arms.

I purchased a NECA Power Loader a few days ago, very well engineered toy! My only problem was that Ripley's hands kept popping off as I tried to put them on the control sticks AND while trying to adjust them, her arms and the power loader arms.

Once I got all of that sorted and the PW placed in front of the queen, it made a scene that was right out of the movie. :)

I saw a photo of what looked like a prototype for a Lambert in spacesuit figure from NECA...is this something they are making, or was it a piece of work done by a custom figure maker?

I believe it was a proper NECA tease.

Seems like it is ready to roll, they just haven't had an available slot in any of the recent series (with the A3 wave and then heavy Aliens focus for the 30th). It is coming though.

For some reason they say we won't get a civilian version, but that makes no sense to me. They clearly paid for the rights to her face, so why would they not release multiple figures to capitalize on it? Surely sculpting and tooling costs pale compared to the likeness rights? Or no?

I would think so, but what do I know.

The thing that puzzles me about this sculpt is that she isn't wearing a flight cap, but she is wearing the space suit.

Maybe she'll be packed with two heads? I know NECA has been doing that with the Terminator figures, but those are "deluxe" versions...unless they plan to start doing that with ALIEN/S?

I'd get her just for the removable helmet, even if I weren't trying to collect the whole series.

Newt's an SDCC exclusive, apparently.

Great. Another product where to get what we want we have to pay through the nose for it on ebay.
