The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just ordered one, so I'll report on the quality when it arrives. I'm loving both the look of the print and the fact that it plays it completely straight-faced (i.e. no Xenos hiding in the tree or something). This will look nice next to my PR and armour locker I think.

He also has smaller sizes for less money.

Okay... I normally HATE all things WY... because frankly I think they got that company a little "too" right with today's mega corporations and their "you're just a number" mentality...

But that print is AWESOME!

I love WY for that exact reason, Kev.
I have several similar concepts around and I have to explain to people that they're fictional... but I then point out that, although it's fictional in this instance, the person automatically assumed it was a real, normal company.
They then realise the sorry state of the world if they could so easily accept such a concept as being a 'normal' everyday thing.

There's also this one from another Etsy seller:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/100092753/c ... h_type=all

Being a massive nerd, I wrote him and asked if he'd make another one that didn't list LV-426 (since it's just a backwater colony). He agreed and asked for input. I gave him three suggestions, Thedus (Alien), Cetii Epsilon IV (Aliens), and Helene 215 (Colonial Marine manual), so we'll see what he comes up with. I really dig that it's a female marine too!

Now about that second print... "Black" pants with a red bloodstripe... Screaming Eagle on the left pocket...

Hmmmmmm...

Wonder if there was any inspiration there.

Probably a coincidence. 8)

I would love to see both these guys get some business. The recruitment poster 2.0 will be out soon and he went with Cetii Epsilon IV. He did a little 'net research and ended up reading Spat's description of the planet over on Almayer's Folly and incorporated some of the ideas into his design of the planet. It's subtle, but a really nice thing to have done. Anyway, I'll start a new thread when he puts that one up for sale. I think it would kick butt if people bought a few of the Cetii version as it would show that we appreciate the effort.
