The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Posting the trophies in dlc which hasn't been released yet is a bit spoilerish.

Yup, but I hadn't played it for so long that I couldn't remember how to select/swap weapons.  :D

That's my excuse for dying anyway.

You're right, I should've thought of that, but since the unlocked trophies have already been added (by PSN) to my online trophy collection, before the dlc has been released, I was a bit baffled and thought posting here might get my question answered.

I just assumed everyone else had the unlocked trophies/cheevos added to their collections as well. Spoiling any surprises certainly wasn't my intention!

PS - I fixed it. :)

Not quite as cheap in the US, but better than half of what I paid (Xbox version only). 'Tis a crying shame indeed.

As I said, it's worth it for the paraphernalia and Statue alone. Just ditch the game or give it to someone :)

Quote:
Stasis Interrupted, the latest piece of DLC for Aliens: Colonial Marines by Gearbox Software and Darkside Game Studios, has been officially announced today. Additionally, the changelog for the newest Xbox 360 patch can be found here.

“The final piece of Aliens: Colonial Marines DLC, Stasis Interrupted, tells the story of what happened to Hicks between Aliens and Alien 3 through the eyes of three different characters. The story begins as Lisbeth Hutchins and other passengers onboard the spaceship Legato wake unexpectedly from hypersleep and must figure out why their vessel has been diverted to intercept the Sulaco leaving LV-426′s orbit. Fight your way through the alien-infested spaceship, find out what Michael Weyland is after, and discover what truly happened to Hicks!

Packing new Achievements and Trophies, Stasis Interrupted will be rolling out on all platforms beginning July 23th (July 24th for PlayStation 3 players in Europe) and will be available individually or as part of the Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass, a bundle that includes access to the previously released Bug Hunt mode, Reconnaissance Pack and Movie Map Pack.”

A side story, rather than integrated into the main campaign I think, probably selected from the main menu or the mission/level option?

FINALLY!!!!

Time to get back in it! More campaign and hopefully that weak "thats a whole other story" brushoff will be cleaned up properly!

I suppose the story of what happened to all the marines left behind is something for a sequal... (I wish)
