The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Downloaded the SHARP rifle, sawed-off shotgun, and "Monster Energy Customization" DLC, but have no idea exactly what the last one is or does. If anyone can clarify that for me it would be much appreciated... (Steve?)

So that is #3 right? The 4th and final has to be the extended campaign pack?!? I'll cry if they bail on it.

The Movie Map Pack will be rolling out on all platforms beginning June 11th (June 12th for PlayStation 3 players in Europe) and will be available individually or as part of the Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass, a bundle that includes access to the previously released Bug Hunt add-on and the Reconnaissance Pack as well as an upcoming campaign add-on

Last few worlds says yes the 4th will be the Campaign DLC...... hope thats soon to would be nice... but anyway im happy with the Season Pass it was worht the money for all the levels.

How soon do you expect to be back blastin' xenos with us? Have you found out what needs fixin' on your PS3 yet?

We've had some epic bug hunt matches lately and wished you were there with us. We'll gladly do whatever we can to help get you back to level 60 and unlock all challenge stuff again. Keep us posted buddy!

Looks like the disc drive - it may just need cleaning, which I'll get a mate to help with. If it needs replacing, it's in the £60 - £100 range depending on where I go.

I miss the sound of my pulse rifle!!!

Seems to be just a Marine armour graffiti design of the M from Monster Energy:

Since posting I noticed some new Marine appearance tags and finally found the additional armor graphic. Appreciate your taking the time to reply anyway! :)

Well, I snagged the plasma rifle & S.H.A.R.P. stick, and immediately learned a lesson about the two of them. don't hip fire the plasma rifle, and DON'T shoot the sharp at a lunging bug. ...That last one HURT. :D

So what does everyone think about the new DLC. i like the feel of each level its kinda kool to go to some of those places, i do not like how the Hive looks tho they could have added a bit more of from the film feeling to it but thats just me. i did like the flares that are on the ground and the the PL model in the room being build with a Xeno toy and Apone.

Now, I know a lot of people didn't like Halo 2 - but it was much, much better received than A:CM.

But this article is still interesting: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/bungi ... was-a-fake (Yup, I'm about 6 months late wrt A:CM, and 10 years behind wrt Halo 2!)

I liked Halo a lot- 1 and 3 were the highspots.
2 was a bit meh, with the only thing being the dual-wielding and the end section against the Brutes was just a grind.
ODST I really, really didn't enjoy....Having to use the 'enhanced vision' all the time made the graphics look like my Amstrad 464 and the combat felt one sided.
Reach was more of a 'greatest hits' compilation- but fun with it.
4- I loved....then my online account got corrupted and nothing I tried to reload it allowed me to play :(

Been playing more of A:CM online now and finding it much more entertaining than COD- Though last night there was an lackwit plonked on that fence at the edge of the map....thankfully I distracted him as a spitter while 2-3 of my xeno compadres sliced 'n' diced his buddies ;)

I just couldn't get into Halo, it seemed a bit over-rated to me, but then m friends all reckon I'm a bit weird. A:CM is far superior to CoD, especially the multiplayer. The team work does make a difference, more so than in most 'team-based' games.

Same here. Been playing bug hunt maps almost exclusively but will try the other maps later on. Maybe private matches with friends is the way to go. Trying to find public matches is a waste of time so far.

Does anyone know what's up with the added trophies/achievements that were added on recently? They look like they must be connected with new Campaign DLC, but I haven't found any available yet. Any idea when this is coming out:?:

Edit: Spoiler-ish content removed!
