Had a blast playing Aliens fireteam with a couple of our forum members. Super fun game.

Played the first mission on PS5 with two randoms last night and really enjoyed it!

Need to figure out where the tutorial is, as my team were throwing grenades, setting down mini sentry guns, etc. and I have no idea how to do any of that!

I tend to play late at night (11pm to 2am BST), without chat (so as not to wake family).

Been having a blast playing with knoxvilles_joker

Played the second mission last night.
No human players available, so I had two AI teammates.
They were surprisingly good!
Mission completed with no ‘deaths’ this time.
Also figured out how to deploy mini sentry guns, mines, etc.

I prefer playing with the bots, Alpha and Beta, cause they give me time to explore. I have found all of the intel on mission 1 and most of mission 2. I do not know if playing on PS5 is why I have a hard time getting matched up with human partners or maybe the difficulty I am playing on.

Whats the word guys? Is it the USCM experience we all wanted or is it a generic cash grab? The classic designs are bugging me bad. Im on ps4 starfox511

can't speak as to whether or not it's what we all wanted but i'm enjoying it. The fact that its so easy to team up with folks and play is great. i'd love some classic weapon skins but other than that all good for me. haven't gotten too far in just about to start campaign 3.

Yeah im hoping they bring the movie pulse rifle in seasonal pass. The game is very fun and gets way harder once you go up in difficulty.

I think part of it is a licensing deal. Cameron charges 35k per licensed item or something insane. The helmets were pretty spot on. The smartgunner armor was fairly spot on. The guns though I think they varied so that they could have a better mounting dynamic.

I agree on AI being better for finding stuff, as most human players seem to want to speed run each mission, not even opening the special item crates.

I’m on PS5, but can download the PS4 version and it should allow me to play with other other PS4 owners.
It will mean I start afresh though, as I don't think the saves cross over.

Played with knoxvilles_joker/cobra_shipwreck the other night.
I’m nowhere near as good.

I thought we were playing on Casual, so put up a Challenge Card which I thought turned the largest/toughest xenos into bursters, but it actually turned all the basic, weak xenos into bursters.
We were playing on Standard difficulty.
We did not make it out alive.

PlayStation now extensively uses cloud based save storing. When I updated to my PS5 it was fairly seamless. Have old and new units hooked up. Hit power button until it beeps. Tell it which games to transfer. And boom, done.

Then it was just a matter of downloading the PS5 ps5 games. Which for me were aliens fireteam, call of duty cold war ( I love the outbreak mode which is closest to Wolfenstein enemy-territory I have seen ever) zombies, and borderlands3.

I knew how to import saves from PS4 to PS5 versions, but I thought that you couldn't then share the PS5 save with the PS4 version of the game?
