The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I know there are at least a few people here who are interested in Retro Gaming, so I thought I'd mention a film that's all about the UK gaming industry and how it started. I'm really excited about it (I'm a big Retro Gaming fan, with several old computers from the '80s and I help run a Retro Gaming League).

If anyone else is interested, there is a Kickstarter campaign running (it was funded after about 5 days, but is still going), where you can get it. I don't have anything to do with it, but I thought maybe someone here might be interested, since there is now a gaming section here.

The main site is HERE. There's a link to the Kickstarter page half way down on the right.

There's a 2 hour interview about it 66 minutes into THIS, which I found really interesting.

If you had a Spectrum or C64, or get nostalgic if someone mentions Julian Rignall, Oliver Frey, Rob Hubbard, Andrew Braybrook, David Braben, Jon Hare, Jeff Minter, Matthew Smith, Martin Galway, Zzap!64, Crash, etc., then you might want to take a look.

Wait, Julian Rignall looks normal now? Impressed they got Matthew Smith on camera.

I think I've only seen Matt Smith on camera once before. You'll find him on YouTube in Iain Lee's Thumb Candy programme.
