The power loader/alien statue is pretty well done, I like it anyway. The pre-order bonus PS3 edition DLC from Amazon (U.S.) came with movie character skins for Versus; Hicks, Hudson, Apone, and Drake, and some nice weapons; Phased Plasma Pulse Rifle (slow but extremely powerful, especially against the crusher xeno), Ripley's Pulse Rifle w/Incinerator Unit (95 rounds, automatic, hip-fire only), and the Armat G2 Electroshock Grenade ("Sonic Electronic Ball Breakers").

There were other DLC bonuses available too; the Armat P9 S.H.A.R.P. Rifle and the "Flush" double-barreled shotgun, but I didn't get these, so can't comment on them. (If anyone has these I'd be interested in hearing about them).

Whether the DLC is worth it or not I suppose is a matter of personal choice. The DLC for PS3 edition I got from Amazon was well worth it to me. I'm glad I cancelled my original order and got the Collector's Edition instead.

Oh, that! Well, for the price I think it's worth having. It's plenty challenging and demands cooperative team play to get the most out of it, unless dying over and over again doesn't bother you. Bug Hunt has the potential to keep people (especially friends) playing this game for some time to come, at least until other DLC is released. I bought it but haven't spent much time playing it as I'm still working on completing the last set of challenges and playing random MP matches. If you're looking for intense combat and real cooperative squad action, preferably with your friends, then you'd probably find it a worthwhile addition.
