I know there are a few Walking Dead Fans on here so I thought I would share this with you as it's being slated even worse than Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I have friends who think the first Walking Dead game isn't actually a game, just a series of random button presses and analog stick movements which don't change the outcome to any great extent.

They prefer a bit more action than a button press every five minutes (their view not mine, I loved it), so they'd probably prefer the latest game.

Yeah, it's a shame as they seemed to be trying to go for a different mechanic (you get guns, but if you use them you attract attention, so you need to be stealthy), but screwed up the game mechanics. Also, the graphics, the sounds, and there's a lot of complaints about clearing an area, walking forward two feet, turning around, and the place is full of zombies again!

Unlike the A:CM complaints, they seem to be about major gameplay issues rather than things like the light not swinging and stuff. I can't complain myself as I'd not had any intention of buying in the first place, and I won't brutally slate a game I've never even played a demo of!

It's utter garbage.

Nah, more like watch a few minutes of 'movie' then press A. Watch more movie, then move analog pad to locate a hot spot, then press X.

But that's missing the point of the game.

Ah- the Metal Gear Solid Method:
Play tutorial for 10 minutes.
Watch 20 minutes of cut scenes with arcane/odd dialogue
Play another 10 minutes of game
Watch 30 minutes of cut scenes with even wierder dialogue.
Etc.

I love paying £40 for an animated movie

Bear in mind that TWD is a lot less than £40 and it's still a brilliant game, deserving of its Game of the Year awards.
