The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

The gameplay stuff they showed in the panel was super cool. I also appreciated the tension build during the moments that weren't as action packed.

Was he pointing to our own MattRendar and CplVengeance?

YES! Because they looked freaking amazing! It just goes to show how you never know how much you've touched someone's life through something you're passionate about. :D

It gives me confidence this game is being created by folks who seem to love it as much as we do.

Yeah, the Gearbox and SEGA crew are nerds for this as much as we are. They're jealous of our gear and we're jealous of all the inside info they obviously have about ACM. 2/12/13 can't get here fast enough!

I don't think any Colonial Marine is ever completely happy with their kit. Always some more crap to get for these damn things :)

yea thats true. I got an airsoft pulse rifle, but now I want a resin one too. I ordered the movie camo armor from spat, but I want to find the shoulder lamp, the motion tracker, the flame thrower. my problem is when i get into something i really like, i dive in head first like scrooge mcduck.

Some spoilers FYI and some factual errors as well. "A nod to 17 weeks?" um...no...just no :)

Demos often get released around the time of the full game launch, sometimes after. :)

Ah the good old days of demos *before* the game comes out have long passed.

I have heard good things about this game from all over the place. Have already put down some money at my local game stop for the colllectors edition. My xbox avatar has uscm armor and tracker. Any body remember the arcade Aliens game, I think it was 86 when it hit arcades (It was responsible for me becoming the geek I am today, and my love of fraging xenos). I hope I can have my armor build done by the time it comes out.

my game stop is the same, but what sucks is that since the most recent mass murder here in Colorado. I can't bring along a pulse rifle replica with out be concerned with people freaking out. If I don't have my replica armor done I guess I'll just have to wear my U.S.S. Sulaco cover (I really hope that that won't be the case)

As folks said, there's no demo/beta that I know of at the moment. We're all getting it anyway and I'll just plan on walking around GS or Best Buy in armor with my pulse and a menacing grimace on my face in case there are any undecided gamers on lauch day. A few "you're going to but 'ALIENS:Colonial Marines' right?" should go a along way :)

I doubt they'll release a beta. When I played the multi-player it felt very polished already [even if it took 30 rounds from a pulsey to put an alien down in competitive. Hoping that's not the case for the single player.]
