The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I know there is a post about the 2010 show, but March 20th is coming up fast. Over the years this show has grown from a small room in the mayfair to a huge hall at Shaw. I plan to be there as Snake Eyes and will be manning the Rebel Legion booth. Anyone else planning on going?

Thought about it. Usually I'm swamped with work. Selling Real Estate takes up alot of my weekends. Check back in another week & we'll see if we can linkup.

I won't be able to make it. It would be better if I had my costume ready, but that has been pushed ahead to 2016. :x

I'll be there for sure, Shane (runs the show) is a good friend, I'm CO of the rebel legion and we have a table, one of my students will be selling her artwork and I will have a freshly completely snake eyes wanting to be worn. I'm really hoping to have my Marine done for the Calgary Expo in June.

Haha... Beavis makes an Albertan appearance.

The jester, Mike, is Harley Quinn, the Joker's GF.

Thanks for sorting me out, Dom.

Hey mothmonty, got any more pix to post?

I also want to personally thank the local 501 Legion Badlands Garrison for always welcoming us where we just pop it. They always welcome us and provide us with a room for our kit. Great people to hang out with, too. Thanks again Troops!

I second that motion... Great folks and killer costumes! We had a blast.
People were actually lining up to take photos with us. AND at one point, a family with two small kids wanted a quick photo with us, so as the mother was trying to herd her boys next to us, we overheard her calling her one son "Hudson". A coincidence or what!?!

Thanks again for the lift Airborne!

   Thanks big guy! I must say, it was good fishing that day. Took us about a 1/2 hour to bring in those babies. But you wouldn't dare want to eat one! :D
Also, you can't tell, but I was sporting the Aliens Legacy shirt I bought from Glenn. It was a great conversation piece!

Salvaged another photo. This guy had killer tattoo's. If memory serves correct, he was from North Carolina.
That tattoo to the right of his facehugger is one of Ripley's clones.
Nice guy, he was at the show selling velvet paintings he made. He had done an amazing Queen Alien, but my stupid camera would not behave that day and most of my 50 pics never turned out. If you make any nano-movements with your hands, the photo comes out blurry. :x

The other arm belongs to me. Me wifey snapped this pic (she is seen with the facehugger on her chest between two roller derby chicky-poo's)

It's hard for me to type this out... But you can drop a skyscraper on our city and not hit a single Colonial Marine!
As far as I can tell, I think we have... maybe... four people with a SA costume:|
My advice to you sir is to get on the ready line and join the platoon! The more, the merrier :D
Nothing looks more bad ass then a Colonial Marine, scarring kids and house wives with our face... huggers and chest... bursters :D
