You cannot have the Recruiting Ribbon at a convention. By definition, being at a convention automatically makes you a recruiter. The Recruiting Ribbon is for events that are not conventions, such as a film attendance, games launch, etc... where you promote the Colonial Marine fandom. Essentially it exists for a lack of there being a convention if you are at an event. |

If it is an event uniquely organized to promote Colonial marine fandom (Again, such as, game launch, or film night), than the Recruiting Ribbon is given. If it is an event where many people are invited, and there happens to be Colonial Marines in attendance, this is a Colony Drop. |

Hi Dom, I was going to ask if there were any issues with having service ribbons physically made &/or the wearing of said ribbons, but having now read post #1 of this thread, I see that those questions are largely redundant. I did note that the paradestore.com looks to need updating to - http://www.paradestore.com/index.php/ribbon-slides.html For future reference: I understand getting the ribbon codes from your site, but I'm unsure of how to plug those details into the Paradestore site; any chance yourself (or someone else) could bosh out a quick tutorial please? Apologies if I'm just being dense. |
