The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi again, yes I'm still alive. It's been a long hard road but I'm still standing and planning to attend a few events in the coming weeks:

Polar Chill July 4-6 2014 970 Dixon Rd Toronto

http://tcon.ca/polarchill

Brought to you by the folks behind Toronto Trek and then briefly named Polaris (2007-2012) until it folded the large 3 day summer family convention. It has become a relaxacon social event paired with an awards event.

Last year I was brought in almost last minute to host the panel on Firefly.

This year my services have been acquired to co-host a topic dear to me - Disaster preparation. I will be there Friday evening to co-host the Zombie Apocalypse panel and will be bringing my BugOutBag as part of the discussion/symposium.

Here's the panel description:

Zombie Apocalypse - Are you ready for it? It’s coming and you better be prepared! Join us for intriguing discussions on preparedness, the possibility of it happening, what you can do to protect yourself and get yourself ready for when the chaos hits. Discussions on portrayals in modern media and literature. We will have an example of a “go bag” or emergency preparedness kit. What to include in it, what is frivolous, what is completely unnecessary. So come in and learn how to stay alive!

TFCon July 12-13 Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre – 6750 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, Ontario

I always have fun at these things, I dressed as Luke SkyWalter back at the 80s toy show in May and last year TFCon had an 80s costume contest where I won first place with my UACM ALIENS gear.

This year it seems they've got another 80s theme happening on the Sunday. I plan on being there both days.

And that ends my summer convention plans, no more Dcon for me in the foreseeable future :(

Hope to be able to pay more attention to the board, great to see some of the after action reports :D

If anyone needs to reach me, please use the link to my website ;)

I can't think of a better person to do a Firefly panel.

When are you getting your ass back to Dragon*Con?
