The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Sorry guys I should have done this earlier.
My name is Pedro Bedard. I live just outside of Winnipeg Manitoba in a small town called St. Francois Xavier.

I work for Manitoba Hydro as a Heavy Equipment Operator. My wife and I also own and operate Imagine Games and Hobbies and H.M.Surplus. Mostly role playing games, dice and boardgames in one half, and military surplus in the other half.
As my nickname infers, I am a Blacksmith and have been one for almost 30 years now. I also make copies of dark age and medieval armour. For those of you interested, photos of my work are here;

These photos only represent the last 4 years of my work because I never photographed anything earlier. I honestly didn't think anyone would be interested. Turns out, I was wrong.
I don't usually work in plastics, though this is a learning experience. They behave somewhat like hot metal. It's interesting.

That's about it. I should have my uniform finished by mid to late October (hopefully the helmet will be done in the next week or so) as I'm wearing it to the Central Canada Comics Con.
Hope to see some of you next year as I am planning, if life doesn't conspire against me, on attending Dragon Con.
That's it for now. Thanks for the warm welcome and the many helpful suggestions.
Pedro
