The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey Dom!

Looks like I haven't been keeping this ribbon rack updated - bad me! Could I please request the following adjustments:

Jerome Saincantin

+1 Colonial Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon
+1 Atlanta Colony Campaign
London Colony Campaign
+1 Operations Merit of Achievement

Also made a donation - late, but I stopped receiving notifications to this thread and missed the pledge, sorry.

Cheers! :delta:

Haven't looked in here for ages as I've not been on any drops, so missed the post about hosting fees.

CA$5 sent. :)

Best to post in Off Topic next year, so you catch more non-attendees? :)

Unless Chicago has had a mass exodus of 9 million people, no.

Here's your ribbon, please read the TOS on page 1.

I'm pretty sure even the San Diego Comic-Con doesn't have that many on a single day.

Angouleme's Comic Festival. 200 000+ over a weekend.

Of course, it's not exactly a convention - not the way they're done in the US/UK/Canada...

Just curious... did the order of precedence regarding the Canis et Equus VII Ceremonial Guard ribbon change? I see it 1st on my sig display, but on the Decorations and Ribbons page, it shows it should be displayed after Hypersleep Deployment and before the Multi-Force Decoration.

I was reorganizing my actual costume ribbon rack and went to double-check for accuracy, finding this slight discrepancy...

EDIT: Checking again, I see a few other discrepancies with ribbon orders, making me think the order of precedence did actually change. (my placement of Aid to the Civil Power, for example, and others).

Can you get more specific on the name of this medal? I'm not quite sure how to find it to get the colours of its ribbons. Is this the one?

Yes it did, read this.

Derek, your rack is now fixed. Are you going to qualify for the CAR this year?

I really must visit this thread more often- totally missed the Colonial Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal.

Requesting said medal as I participated in the 2008 UACM Colony Sweep.

Also it looks like my Canis et Equus VII Ceremonial Guard ribbon needs to be moved between my Samhain 1031 Prison Colony Incident Decoration and Multi-Force Decoration.

PS- there seems to be some discrepency in how many CAR citations and Atlanta drops I have participated in. CARs should be 6 (D-Con 4 sweeps '05 through '08, Polaris 2 sweeps '07 & '08), and Atlanta should be 7 drops (2003-2009 inclusive).

The Army Service ribbon is correct, and here's an image of the NDSM ribbon:
